Free Claiming Crown Contest
Rules
Date: 8-2-08 Claiming Crown Day
Location: Canterbury Park, Shakopee, Minnesota
Prize: $1,000.00 ($700.00 to 1st prize, $200 for 2nd prize, $100 for 3rd prize)
Cost: FREE
Entry: 1 entry per person (based on name, home address, email address and IP address. Multiple enteries will be grounds for disqualification)
Time: Cut off for making selections will be 1:00 PM cst on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008 (30 minutes prior to first race)
Changing: You will not be able to modify selections once submitted.
Scoring: Scoring will be based on the highest handicapping score for the day (see below). Contestant will enter top choice and two alternates for each race listed. Alternates are only used in case of scratches. If all 3 selections are scratched, post time favorite is substituted.
Selections: A list of every contestants selections will be both posted on this web site and e-mailed to everyone in the contest PRIOR to 1st race.
Results: Results will be posted immediately following the final race.

User needs to complete ONLY columns B, C, D.
Basically, user just needs to enter the horse number, horse off odds and horse finish position (1 for first, 2 for second, 3 for third or 0 for out of the money). (When entering the off odds, you must use decimals. So, for example, a horse that goes off at 9/2 should be entered as 4.5. A horse at 6-5 should be entered as 1.1, and so on). The score will show up in cell D19.
