 Monday September 14  These two tours below are available to book and are open to the public.

         Public Premier Seattle City Tour is available from 12 Noon-5 PM or 3 PM-8 PM. Tours begin downtown at 1 PM or 4-PM. You will be picked up at the hotel and returned to the hotel at the end of the tour. Stops on this 

       50-mile Seattle Tour include the Space Needle, 2 hours at Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, the Ballard Locks and a great city skyline photo opportunity.  No walking required. Light walking available during two15-minute stops.       Public Future of Flight Boeing Factory Tour - You will be picked up at the hotel at 1 PM and returned to the hotel at the end of the tour, around 7 PM. The tour begins downtown Seattle at 2 PM.  You will witness assembly of a jumbo jet up close inside the world’s largest building (472 million cubic feet by volume), visit the 240-seat theater and watch a dramatic time-lapse film of the complete assembly of a Boeing 777 airplane. From the balcony Boeing tour visitors can see airplanes under various stages of construction. There is a 90-minute walking tour of the Boeing Factory, including 27 stairs. Wheelchairs  available on a first come, first served basis.   Tuesday,  September 15 -  Seattle City Tour Plus

        You will be picked up at the hotel at 9 AM. The tour includes everything in the Public Premier Seattle City Tour + 2 hours at Pike Place Market for lunch ON YOUR OWN + 1 hour at Space Needle (ticket included in price). You will be returned to the hotel around 5 PM. There is light walking, especially during the time at the market and to/from Space Needle.  Wednesday, September 16 - Future of Flight Boeing Factory + Museum of Flight Tour

    You will be picked up at the hotel at 8:30 AM and transported to the Boeing Factory in Everett for a 90-minute guided tour from 10 AM - 11:30 AM. Spend 45 minutes at Future of Flight then depart Boeing at 12:15 PM for the Museum of FlightA boxed lunch will be included during the ride to Museum of Flight. Arrive at Museum of Flight at 1:15 PM. Guests have 2 hours on their own at the Museum. The bus will depart at 3:30 PM returning to the hotel by 4 PM. There is a 90-minute walking tour of the Boeing Factory, including 27 stairs. Wheelchairs available at Boeing on a first come, first served basis. Restrooms will be available before or after the 90-minute tour inside the factory. The Museum of Flight is all walking, will let you know about wheelchair availability at museum. (Do not take this tour if you took the Boeing Factory Tour).

Wednesday September 16 - Dinner Cruise with Argosy Cruises

6 PM to approximately 11 PM. Transportation provided to and from the ship.  Enjoy an evening of ever-changing city and mountain views. Enjoy a Northwest infused buffet prepared fresh onboard from a former chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City who has also been recognized by the James Beard Foundation as the best chef in the Northwest/Hawaii. Remember to bring your dancing shoes as the band will be playing all evening.                                                    $99.00 per person                                                                                                                                                                             http://www.argosycruises.com/dining-cruises


Thursday September 17 - All-day Mt. Rainier Tour

You will be picked up from the hotel at 8 AM and return around 5:30-6 PM. There will be a grocery store stop at 9 AM and then enter Mt. Rainier National Park. The tour will make 5-8 stops in the park, including stops at waterfalls, scenic views and the visitor’s center. You will also experience old-growth, wildflower-filled meadows, and thundering waterfalls on this tour of glacier-clad Mt. Rainier. Visit the interpretive center at Paradise or Sunrise to learn even more about the mountain's glaciers, plants and animals. Light to moderate walking available, no walking required; there are options for all abilities. A Boxed lunch is included and you have a choice of 5 items for a picnic at Paradise. The tour will make restroom stops every 60-90 minutes. Friday, September 18 - Victoria/Butchart Gardens

6 AM to approximately 10:30 PM, lunch and dinner are included.  Our tour company will provide transportation to the clipper ship for the 3-hour ride to Victoria and also transportation from the dock to the hotel upon your return. We will be met by CVS Tours in Victoria, who will oversee the day’s activities. Butchart Gardens has been called one of the 10 most Magnificent Gardens by National Geographic and one of the world’s 14 most beautiful gardens by Condé Nast Traveler. Over 900 varieties of plants are used in their summer displays alone with emphasis on maximizing floral beauty and more importantly, color.  The Red Lion Inn has agreed to open the restaurant a half hour early so you can receive your FREE breakfast.

This all day & evening tour which may seem a bit pricey but it is an excellent value. The price includes:

  Transportation from hotel to ferry terminal

  The 3-hour sail to Victoria, which has a retail price of $97.00 one-way

  Transportation from the ferry terminal in Victoria, British. Columbia to downtown Victoria

  Transportation from Victoria to Butchart Gardens

  Admission to Butchart Gardens, approximately $30.00

  Box lunch provided

  Transportation from Butchart Gardens back to the ferry terminal

  Return trip to Seattle, another beautiful 3-hour sail

  Dinner on the ship back to Seattle

  Transportation from the ferry terminal to the hotel

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity unless you travel to the great northwest frequently.

Most of the paths are gradual and easy to walk; all areas are accessible by wheelchair, except for a viewpoint area within the Sunken Garden known as "The Mound,” and the wharf and the gravel path leading to it from the wharf viewpoint. Attendant assisted washrooms are available.  Only motorized or standard wheelchairs or personal mobility scooters are permitted.                                                                                                                                                                                                       $225.00 per person

Friday, September 18 - Snoqualmie Falls Tour with Snoqualmie Casino Buffet Lunch

 

You will depart the hotel at 10 AM and arrive at Snoqualmie Falls at 11 AM. Snoqualmie Falls is one of Washington state’s most popular scenic attractions. At the falls, you will find a two-acre park, gift shop observation deck, the Salish Lodge and the famous 270-foot waterfall. The distance between the parking lot and the viewing platform is approximately 200 feet and is wheelchair accessible. You will leave the Falls at 12:15 PM and arrive at the casino at 12:30 PM. Buffet lunch at casino 12:30-1:45 PM included. The coach will depart the Casino at 1:45 PM arriving at the hotel at approximately 2:45 PM. Light walking. Restrooms available after the 60-minute drive to the Falls and at the casino.                                                                                                                                                 $55.00 per person

Saturday, September 19 - Bremerton/ USS Turner Joy Tour/Naval Museum

Transportation will be provided at 10:30 AM from the hotel to the Seattle-Bremerton Ferry for an 11:10 AM departure. The coach will be taken onto the ferry for a 1-hour ride to Bremerton. A Boxed lunch will be provided on the ferry.  Once you depart the ferry in Bremerton, you will choose one of the following tours:

1.     The USS Turner Joy for a private tour of the US Naval Warship from 12:30-2 PM. The USS Turner Joy (DD-951), famed Navy destroyer from the Vietnam War, is now maintained and administered by the Bremerton Historic Ships Association. The museum ship and memorial honors not only the men and women of our modern US Navy, but also recognizes the accomplishments of those who help build and maintain the Navy's ships as well.  The main level of ship is handicap accessible with moderate walking (standing the entire 90 minutes). The ship has several decks accessible only by ladder & stairs are steep. A tour of the ship to different levels is available, but not required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             $67.00 per person

2.     The Puget Sound Navy Museum – Take a self-guided tour of the Federal Museum from 12:30-2 PM. The Puget Sound Navy Museum collects, preserves, and interprets the naval heritage of the Pacific Northwest for the benefit of the U.S. Navy and general public. The museum is handicap accessible with plenty of seating throughout.

The coach will depart Bremerton by 2:15 PM and drive back to Red Lion SeaTac arriving at approximately 3:15 PM. There is no ferry ride on the return trip.

Sunday September 20 - Pre-Cruise Neighborhoods & Boats Tour with lunch at Chinooks and transport to Pier  (this tour is available to all reunion attendees) Hotel pick-up with luggage (if you are going on the post-reunion cruise) at 9:15 AM. Tour Seattle neighborhoods, lakes & houseboats with a chowder lunch at 12 Noon at Chinooks located at Fisherman’s Terminal. Arrive at cruise terminal before 3 PM. Light walking. 2 restroom opportunities.
