September 5, 2009

Yesterday, 9/5/09, another LIFETIME member has joined and he is James Ronald Xedos of USS Midway. We have learned that the LIFETIME membership maybe too good of a deal. The comments are the members write one check and NEVER have to worry about another one.

                         Thanks again men,

Tuesday December 8, 2009

This has been our best day thus far, 10 members signed-up today. We now have 155 members signed-up. There has not been a day in a long time where we did not receive at least one application or one on-line membership. At this rate we should have over 600 members within our first 12 months. We can now claim this is the fastest growing US Naval reunion organization in existence today. Charter Memberships are still available until the end of the year.

                         Thanks again men,

Friday January 8, 2010

Over the holidays many members members signed up on-line. Forty new membership numbers were issued today. We now have over 220 members. We also now have 6 plank owners of 1945, three from each ship. Our most senior member turned 90 on December 15, 2009. He received many birthday wishes from the entire membership. We now have ladies in the membership so we cannot sign-off as usual.

                         Thank you everyone,

Monday May 31, 2010

We would like to report that in January we sent out 690 letters to 1945 Midway Plank Owners and over 100 have signed up as of today. Squadrons & Shipmate now has over 435 members who have signed up on-line or formally joined. We are now the fastest growing U.S. Naval Reunion Organization in existence today. No other naval reunion organization has accumulated as many Charter Members as Squadrons & Shipmates and we still have three months to go. Please keep in mind our Charter Membership period will expire June 30, 2010. If you still want to become a charter member, your formal application must be postmarked by June 30th. The very reasonable annual membership dues for USS Midway is still only $4.10 and for USS FDR is $4.20. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

                         Thanks,

Friday June 25, 2010

We now have over 460 members who have joined on-line or has sent in their formal application. Please do not let the Charter Membership period expire before you join Squadrons & Shipmates.
