"WANDERLAND"
December 10th, and 11th, 2014

"We had so much fun last Christmas that we decided to wander again.  This time to all new locations.  Once again we traversed across the desert in a shuttle.  There were many stops along the way.  It was a really fun way to celebrate the season with great friends old and new"

CUISTOT RESTAURANT ~ PALM DESERT
"We began our evening at Cuistot in Palm Desert.  They pulled out all the stops as they served us Champagne and Wine by the outdoor fireplace.  It was a truly perfect way to start our journey.  They hand passed appetizers as we warmed ourselves by the fire.

Wild Mushroom Soup Shooters
Grilled Lamb Sliders
Salmon Boucouse
and
Citrus  Infused Lobster

ROBOLIGHTS ~ PALM SPRINGS
"Then it was off by shuttle where everyone donned Santa Hats and Reindeer Antlers on our way to ROBOLIGHTS, the nation's largest lighting display in a private home.  It filled us with the not so traditional holiday spirit as we explored 4 acres of sculptures made of toilets, microwaves, skulls and an occasional Christmas element thrown in.  On the way to ROBOLIGHTS we offered Apple Cider Martinis and sweet buns filled with slow roasted turkey, housemade cranberry sauce and herbed cream cheese."

JOHANNES RESTAURANT ~ PALM SPRINGS
Johannes pulled gave us a real treat with a fantastic Wiener Schnitzel, an Austrian holiday tradition.  Along with the schnitzel came an array of sauces and sides served family style.

Curried Meatballs
Traditional Wiener Schnitzel
Braised Red Cabbage
Herbed Polenta
Saurkraut
Peppercorn Sauce
Jaeger Sauce
Sweet Orange Sauce
Lemon Caper Sauce

It was a perfect meal for the holidays.

CANDY CANE LANE ~ MINERVA ROAD ~ CATHEDRAL CITY
"Then is was back in the shuttle with Peppermint Schnapps spiked hot chocolate and an array of desserts tray passed as we traveled to CANDY CANE LANE in Cathedral City.  50 houses decked out for the holidays awaited us.  We departed the shuttle at one end of the road and strolled in the brisk December air humming carols along the way.  Then it was back to the shuttle for the short trip back to Cuistot and our cars.  It was an evening filled with holiday cheer."
