Photographs
of Slaves/Freedmen
 in Confederate Uniform

Based on a magazine article by Daniel M. Roper titled "At One Moment in Time" in the Winter 2011 Issue of Georgia Backroads,  there are "only eight known photographs showing a slave wearing a Confederate uniform."  Therefore, this page is based on the research to identify the eight photographs.  If you know of additional pictures email info at blackconfederatesoldiers.com.
