Dave shot down one of the first MiGs of the Viet Nam War, 3 seconds after CDR Louis C. Page & John C. Smith shot down the first one. Now a Captain, John C. Smith is also a Lifetime Member in Squadrons & Shipmates. He was the 1st Squadron CDR of the "Top Gun" school. |
